D5.1 Report on user mapping
The Report on user mapping (WP5 – D5.1) is the first deliverable of WE-ACT WP5: Prototyping, Piloting, and Demonstration of a Decision Support System (DSS) for Water Allocation in the Naryn and Kara Darya Basins. Focused on Task 5.1: User Mapping, the primary objective is to map the stakeholders of the project and identify the end-users of the Decision Support System. The stakeholder analysis and user identification are based on the information extracted from focus group discussions and interviews conducted with the stakeholders. The end-users identified were prioritized according to their strategic requirements in water allocation. In subsequent phases of the WEACT project, the outcomes of this user mapping analysis will serve as vital input, particularly the delineated user groups, for Task 5.2 – Scoping management needs and alternatives. In this task, a comprehensive requirement analysis will be undertaken to identify user needs and subsequently translate them into functional requirements for the DSS. The user needs translating into the functional requirements of the DSS development are investigated in the report Workshops and Reports on Management Needs and Alternatives (WP5 – D5.2)
