The report D5.2 Workshops and Reports on Management Needs and Alternatives is the second deliverable of WE-ACT WP5: Prototyping, Piloting, and Demonstration of a Decision Support System (DSS) for Water Allocation in the Naryn and Kara Darya Basins. Focused on T5.2: Scoping management needs and alternatives, the primary objective of is to address user needs for water management in the specified basins by defining functional requirements for the WE-ACT Water Allocation DSS. The analysis employs a demand-driven (bottomup) approach, integrating user categorization from D5.1 Report on user mapping, consulting key stakeholders, and translating identified needs into detailed functional requirements for DSS development. Sub-objectives include scoping water management needs, understanding stakeholder concerns, retrieving user stories from key stakeholders, prioritizing use cases, and defining DSS functional requirements.
