Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) 2026
The 13th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD 13) is the region’s premier intergovernmental platform for follow-up and review of progress on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Forum brings together government representatives, United Nations system bodies, international organisations, civil society, and other stakeholders to share experiences, identify regional trends and best practices, and advance collective action toward achieving the SDGs.
Organised by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), APFSD 13 convenes Asia-Pacific member States, UN agencies, civil society, technical experts and other stakeholders to promote regional cooperation and inform global discussions on sustainable development.
The Forum supports countries across the Asia-Pacific region, especially least developed countries, landlocked developing countries and small island developing States, to assess progress on the SDGs, exchange knowledge, and address shared development challenges. APFSD 13 will help inform and feed into the 2026 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York and will focus on transformative, equitable, innovative and coordinated actions for the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs.
