Empowering Women in Water Sector ‘From Data to Decision’

June 17 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This webinar, organised under the Horizon Europe project WE-ACT, will explore how inclusive, data-driven tools can support more equitable and effective water governance, with a particular focus on empowering women in decision-making processes.

The session will introduce innovative digital solutions developed within the project, including the miraX Decision Support System and Rana Data Warehouse and its underlying data infrastructure, designed to support transparent, evidence-based water allocation in transboundary river basins.

By combining technical demonstrations with real-world stakeholder experiences from Central Asia, the event will highlight how participatory approaches and accessible tools can strengthen resilience to climate change, improve water management practices, and enhance gender inclusion in environmental decision-making.

The webinar will also include an interactive segment, enabling participants to directly engage with the tool and explore its practical applications.
