Mission Ocean and Waters Forum and related events

A week-long series of interconnected events — Mission Ocean and Waters Forum and European Ocean Days — focused on shaping future EU policies and actions for oceans and waters. The programme includes forums, dialogues, innovation and investment days, stakeholder debates, matchmaking sessions, and science-policy seminars, covering topics such as ocean and water restoration, blue economy, climate resilience, research and innovation, and development of key EU policy frameworks.

Organised by the European Commission under the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters, the events bring together a diverse range of stakeholders: policymakers, researchers and innovators, civil society, industry, regional and local authorities, youth, investors, and communities active in water and maritime sectors.

The week aims to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange and collective action to restore and protect ocean and water systems, support the sustainable blue economy, and advance key EU initiatives, including the European Ocean Pact and the European Water Resilience Strategy. Participants share experiences, highlight progress on the Mission targets, explore innovative solutions, and help co-design policies shaping Europe’s blue future.
