Two major events are on the horizon in Tashkent, both of which will have a significant impact on the future of Central Asian water resource management.
The first event is the Stakeholder Workshop: Water Resources in Central-Asia under a changing climate on April 22nd at the Radisson Blu Tashkent Hotel. A varied range of stakeholders, from government leaders to academic specialists, will meet here to explore how to allocate water resources efficiently in the Syrdarya River Basin in the face of climate change issues.
Following that, on April 23rd and 24th, the focus will move to the WE-ACT project’s General Assembly. This 2-day meeting aims to delve deeply into the complexities of integrated water resource management. WE-ACT partners will participate in keynote talks, workshops, and collaborative sessions directed at furthering the project’s objective. The agenda includes subjects critical to the region’s sustainable water management, such as hydrological forecasts and green research funding.
